Determining the Most Effective Stage of the Think-Pair-Share Teaching Strategy

This investigation was carried out to examine the effect of think-pair-share on high school learners’ academic attainment in fractions and most effective stage think-pair-share. Two research questions five hypotheses guided this study. An explanatory sequential mixed method design used. Purposive convenience sampling techniques were used select first-years 78 participants, respectively. Teacher-made achievement tests interviews as data-gathering instruments. Students’ analysed using independent paired samples t-tests whilst interview data thematically.
